"What was an unexpected surprise for me was to discover the richness of the text. I’ve learned that the Hebrew text has its own rhythm and pace, with word-plays and allusions. My understanding of what I read is now filled with flavors and colors that I never saw before. It also helps that my teacher is from Israel. I find myself learning more about the cultural context the Biblical events took place in. It has really made the Scripture alive to me in a new exciting way" - Jan, Texas |
